Here are some close ups of detail...
I painted the wheels & parts, on the bike, & the gate with DA soot, let dry, then applied some DA  clear crackle. Once the crackle dried I dry brushed on some LuminArt silk emperor's gold, on the wheels & gate. I also used the gold on the cogs, & basket. I painted the bike with LuminArt jasper red H2O, let dry, then applied the DA clear varnish. Once that dried I rubbed on some black using a ink pad...
I painted the title with the LuminArt jasper red, let dry, then I sprayed it with a clear varnish & sprinkled it with glitter, while the varnish was still wet..I also inked the edges using a black ink pad. When using snow paste, you need to seal in the color, with the varnish, or the color will bleed through. The final step is adding the snow paste (Prima), sprinkling on glitter while it was still wet...
I used LuminArt Olive Vine silks on the leaves, then the crackle, sprayed with the clear varnish, sprinkled on the glitter & applied the snow paste. For the berries I used the jasper red, then applied drops of the clear varnish...
I layered the chipboard, using the wreath, bauble #3 & mini holly

Thank you so much for taking the time to look, Happy Holidays & looking forward to seeing you in the New Year.....Rachelle

  1. You have showcased those chippies so beautifully. I am not usually a fan of these kind of colours but your layout makes me want to use them.
